United For ALICE
Across Forsyth and Dawson Counties, thousands of hardworking households are struggling to make ends meet. These families are part of the ALICE population—Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. They earn above the Federal Poverty Level, but not enough to afford the basics like housing, childcare, food, transportation, and healthcare.
United Way of Forsyth County uses ALICE data to understand the true cost of living in our communities and to guide investments that create real solutions. By shining a light on the challenges ALICE families face, we can work together to build pathways to financial stability and opportunity.
