1989
Founded to Fill the Gap
United Way of Forsyth County is established to bridge the gap between community needs, available services, and the funding required to deliver those services effectively.
1991
First Community Campaign
In the fall of 1991, United Way of Forsyth County launches its first official fundraising campaign—raising $152,610 through the generosity of local individuals and businesses.
1991–2025
$29 Million Invested Locally
Over the past three decades, United Way of Forsyth County has raised and invested more than $29 million into critical health and human service programs—supporting everything from housing and food access to early education, mental health, and nonprofit capacity.

Our mission continues with renewed energy:
