Family Service Coordinator (Sisu) -

Position provides families at Sisu with support, resources, information, training and crisis intervention as needed in order to strengthen and sustain families.  Position is primarily a school year position, requiring 30-35 hours per week with occasional evening and weekend activities and 3-4 weeks in the summer.


  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work and/or Psychology

  • Experience in a school setting serving children with disabilities and their families

  • LMSW or LCSW preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Family Advocate/Case Manager (Family Promise of Forsyth County) –

Family Promise of Forsyth County is seeking a full-time, detailed-oriented Family Advocate.  The
full-time position is primarily responsible for working directly with families who are experiencing homelessness to empower and assist them in achieving long-term stability and sustainable independence.  Family Advocate will serve as primary contact for families participating in or recently graduating the program; serve as primary contact for referring agencies; screen potential participant candidates in collaboration with Executive Director; be a viable team member by investing in all agency activities and functions; collect and maintain data and case notes; understand and practice appropriate confidentiality; and be a positive representative of the agency within the community.


  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science field

  • Experience working with children and families

  • Flexibility as the job requires some evening and weekend hours as well as some after-hour on call responsibilities

  • Computer literacy, including word processing and excel spread sheets

  • Organized and detail oriented and possess good communication and writing skills

  • Support the agency’s mission statement, organizational values and beliefs, and its quality assurance plan
