  • American Red Cross, Northeast Georgia Chapter

    Provides services ranging from disaster relief, CPR, first aid training, blood collection, aid to military families and youth programs.
  • Challenged Child and Friends, Inc.

    A therapeutic educational center for children six weeks to six years of age with special needs and their typical peers.
  • Children's Center for Hope and Healing (formally Family Relations Program)

    Serves individuals and families with the purpose of breaking the cycle of child sexual abuse and to prevent the victimization of children.
  • Dawson County 4-H Council

    Provides diverse youth programs in areas of education, recreation and leadership for all youth ages 9 to 19 years.
  • Dawson County Family Connection

    Provides leadership through collaboration with all segments of the community for the well being of families and children.

    Provides positive and caring relationships between volunteers and selected students.

    Offers girls ages 5 to 17 programs to teach life skills, values and develop leadership potential.

    Volunteers promote and protect the best interest of abused and neglected children in the courtroom.

    Provides shelter as well as essential services to victims of domestic violence.
  • Northeast Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America

    Offers programs for boys designed to build leadership, character and citizenship skills.

    A network responding to sexual assault through counseling, advocacy and education.
  • Reading Education Association of Dawson County (R.E.A.D.)
    Works as a collaborative organization with community, government, schools and business leaders to coordinate, promote and advocate for families who do not possess the literacy skills necessary to achieve their full potential.
